Roster Sizes & Locking
Minimum Players: Must start with 9. You can finish with 8, but the missing player's spot is an automatic out.
Lineup Flexibility: You may bat 9, 10, or 11 players. The lineup size is strictly LOCKED after the first pitch is thrown.
Designated Roles
Extra Hitters (EH/XH): The 10th and 11th hitters. They can bat anywhere in the order and substitute freely on defense.
Designated Hitter (DH): The starting pitcher can DH for themselves. Must be listed as P/DH on the lineup card.
π Courtesy Runners
- Allowed for Pitcher and Catcher at ANY time.
- The runner must be a valid substitute.
- CRITICAL: You cannot use the last batted out if you are batting your entire lineup.
- The same substitute cannot run for both the Pitcher and Catcher in the same game.

Bats with rattles, cracks, missing knobs, or worn graphics are completely banned. Refusal to let officials inspect a bat results in an automatic 3-year PG suspension.

Mound Visits
ONE visit per pitcher, per inning. A second visit in the same inning requires the pitcher to be removed after the current at-bat concludes.

MLB rule strictly enforced. A balk is NOT a dead ball. Play continues naturally.

Pickoffs & Windups
The 3B-to-1B pickoff move IS legal. Pitcherβs free foot can be on, in front of, behind, or to the side of the rubber during the windup.

Electronic Comms
One-way comms (e.g., Pitchcom) allowed from dugout to field. In-ear direct live audio is restricted to the CATCHER ONLY.
Protocol for handling high-stress situations including rule protests, injury delays, and weather-related stoppages to maintain control during unexpected events.

Allowed for rule misapplications ONLY. You cannot protest judgment calls or pitch limits.
TIMING: Must be filed before the next pitch or before umpires leave the field. Win the protest = keep your $100.
π Injury Delays
If EMS or an Athletic Trainer delays the game for more than 5 minutes, that specific amount of time is added back to the game clock.

A game is official if 5 innings are complete (or 4.5 innings if the Home team is winning). Halted games must resume within 1 hour.

Pool Play Ties:
Tie after 7 innings or time limit = Game Ends (Counts as Β½ win, Β½ loss).

Playoff Tie (Non-Championship):
If tied after 7 or time limit: Start next inning with Bases Loaded, 1 Out. Placement: Last 3 hitters from previous inning on base (Last hitter on 1st, previous on 2nd, previous on 3rd).

Semi & Championship:
NO time limits. Normal extra innings through the 9th. The bases-loaded tie-breaker begins in the 10th inning.
